I was, of course! and lots of my friends. The television ratings will be out later in the week, and I suspect it'll show 3 or 4 million people watched either one of the two live broadcasts (the game ended at 4:40 on a Monday morning)-- doesn't seem like enough speaking absolutely, but ESPN has been shocked and delighted with the numbers.

All the hipsters at Shout were tuned in, since Pedro & Steve were good enough to put the game on instead of the usual 70s softcore porn. A pleasant surprise.

Also! I may be good luck! It was the first World Cup match I've seen the entire live broadcast of (having slept through at least part of all the others, when I wasn't watching them on 8 hour tape delay). AND on the way home both the L and the PATH trains arrived in my direction THE VERY SECOND I stepped onto the platforms. Hence me getting home by 5 am.
