My Denver weatherpixie

The WeatherPixie

There is supposed to be 1-3 feet of snow in Denver over the next 48 hours, so I'm gearing up by trying out this cute lil Weather Pixie (which I was delighted see originates from the south-east of dear ol' Blighty). Does it work?

Sorry I haven't blogged for ages. Whenever I go abroad this tends to happen, and then by the time I get home I have so much to say I never get round to actually saying it. Mostly, all I'd have to say is stuff about what I did, and how fun this or that was, with maybe the occasional anecdote. I don't have a lot of them, largely because I can never remeber interesting or funny things that have been said or done.

I will, however, be posting some wildlife shots when I can upload my digital camera. No snakes yet, and as it's supposed to snow tonight, no snakes full stop, I'd guess. Hot elk action, though. Rar!

I have also vowed to go on fossil-hunting ebxhibitions when I get back to the U of K. Anyone fancy coming with me?

In world affairs, I am amazed to see that Tony Blair is regarded in America as the moderating, cautious influence on that cunt George W Bush (profanity inserted intentionally for when he decides to Google (TM) himself). I was also pleasantly surprised to see nobody's favourite politician Robin Cook has resigned from the cabinet in protest at a war nobody of sound mind actually wants. So there still is some concept of personal belief and honour in the Commons? Nice to know, if occasionally hard to believe.

Six days till I return, and I am already hoping against hope that the snow will last long enough to prevent my flight leaving. I like it here. I don't want to go.
