OS 9, you do me right
My desktop database has been hijacked! I installed a Photoshop plug-in the other day and now all my PSDs are showing its name as their creator instead of Photoshop. Bastard bastard poorly written Mac-ports.
Oh wait, rebuilding the database only takes like 3 minutes? And it cleans all that shit up? And the creator/filetype meta-data under OS 9 still makes more sense and works better than the one in OS X? And by extension, better than the one in Windows since it doesn't even HAVE metadata like that?
Sometimes I love my little last-year's-OS baby. Even when it does me wrong, it does me right.
