Cranky geek

You know what makes me cranky? The fact that the Mac OS Finder AND iTunes both use the same CDDB and "CD Remote Database" to gather track names on audio CDs, but the Finder puts the track number in the filename, while iTunes DOES NOT. Which means that mp3s of albums created in iTunes can't be listed in the Finder in track order. Which means they can't be burned in Toast in track order. CRANKY. You know what else makes me cranky? The fact that Finder's modification dates are only accurate to the minute, not the second, so I can't even list them In The Order That They Were Ripped because my goddamn fast computer rips many songs in the same minute. CRANKY. CRANKY GEEK. GOING TO BED NOW.
