Rory Gilmore

"Gilmore Girls is the first series to make it to air supported by the Family Friendly Forum's Script Development Fund. An initiative between some of the nation's top advertisers and The WB, the program is intended to offer a greater array of compelling family programming on network television." Sounds sickening, right? Then why is this show so good?? Since Popular's nosedive in its second season, I've been paying acute attention to the WB -- I'm desperate for entertainment here, folks, and I can't do FoodTV 24 hours a day (because they're almost always showing Emeril: blech!). This year's saving graces for the little-network-that-could are definitely Gilmore Girls and the catty Grosse Pointe (and Buffy/Angel, natch). Shout out to the bf for convincing me to watch this show...

Speaking of the bf, what on EARTH am I doing up at 2AM when he's lounging in bed in the next room? I'm off like a prom dress. Talk to you all in the New Year.
