Sinking feeling

I have this sinking feeling I'm going to end up missing the season premiere of Buffy tonight because I'll have to work.

I remember a time when I didn't really watch TV, and I read Adbusters & thought about Voting Nader. I didn't buy records on major labels because they were Evil, and I bought lots of clothes at thrift stores. Now I'm worried about missing Buffy, I'm listening to Madonna, and I'm shopping for brand name jeans online. Principles schminciples. Indie schmindie. I know I was once an intellectual but it's so much more fun to be a Young Gay Consumer instead.

I still think I'll vote Nader though.
