Horrifying convergence

I saw some goths playing hacky sack near NYU today.

Surely this means the end is nigh.

I am always afraid of back-to-school time because of the sickening number of freshman clogging up the street corners with a glazed look in their eyes. I remember being lost and overwhelmed when I started school in the big city but I like to think I snapped out of it before setting foot on Broadway.

I have a selective memory that way.

At least I was never a goth or a hacky sacker, though.
