Sigh. Not again.

Looks like there's a new Metric song in a Dentyne Ice commercial (the one where the guy and girl bump into each other on a subway platform). Now I'll get to endure another 6 months of endless requests for copies of an mp3 of the song like I did after their iZone commercial. Yay.

I wish it was Metric, but it's Papas Fritas "The Way You Walk" that is used in that commercial. It is indeed an excellent song.

Yeah, that Papas Fritas song is on "Buildings and Grounds". I will tell you something about Metric, however. Their new album is going to be on Enjoy Records, hopefully this spring. If you go to http://www.enjoy-records.com/index.html and click on the metric link, a new song plays while the page is up. You probably also know about Metric's own site, www.ilovemetric.com. There are some sound samples there also. The new stuff is much more rocking than anything from the "Grow Up and Blow Away" never-released album that was supposed to come out on Restless. I'll stop babbling now.
