Top 10 Annoying Songs That Get Into My Brain While Walking To Work (vowels removed to protect the innocent from Googlification)

I totally wanted this to be a countdown list but I can't grok the HTML necessary. So deal.

  1. "Landslide" -- sometimes it's even the D*x*e Ch*cks version. Ugh. That twang. That fucking banjo.
  2. Theme from Legend of Z*lda. The one that goes DUN dun da-du-du-du-du-du! du du du DO! du du du du DO du-du! do do-do-do, do do do-do-do, do do do-do-do DUN DUN deedle-ee deedle-ee-ee. Kill me now.
  3. Theme from St*r Tr*k the N*xt G*neration.
  4. Oh crap, it's "Landslide" again.
  5. "G*nius of L*ve" by T*m T*m Club. Which of course morphs into that stupid M*riah C*rey song.
  6. "Ban Marriage" by the Hidden Cameras [plug] See them tonight at Fez! Only $8 if you bring a war protest letter, or $10 if you're a warblogger! Doors at 8pm! [/plug]
  7. The entire discography of L*berty X. And Scooch. I like second stringers (third stringers?), what can I say?
  8. Yup, it's the fat little D*x*e Ch*ck again. Didn't her hair look silly at the Grammy Awards? High narrow hair makes your face look fatter. Trust me on that one, I live it every day.
  9. "The Pr*mise" by When In R*me. Should have been in Donnie Darko. You should not doubt my commitment to Sparkle Motion!
  10. Those G*cci magazine ads where the girl has a "G" shaved into her nether regions. I know, it's not a song, but it's BURNED INTO MY RETINAS so deeply it's starting to affect my hearing. I'd provide a link to one of the pictures but it pains me to type any related words into Google. Like, physical pain.

Hey. . . here's an idea. . . you should write a script to be executed at page compilation time that queries the google popularity of every word (perhaps with an execption list) on your page to determine whether or not the vowels in each word need to be replaces with asterisks, which of course the script would do automatically. . . .

Or, alternately, you could do that for me. That'd be good. Thanks for volunteering. I need it on my desk by 4pm. Have a nice day!

the hair on the grammy's! I saw that. I've always thought that woman looked like a rat. The hair was so wrong though, w/that nasty piece flying off the edge.

Omigod. The last time I played Zelda (Ocarina of Time) I had ALL the music ingrained in my brain for months. All of it. That weird-ass music in the bottom of the well? That sort of countryish music in Kakariko Village that for some reason sounded kind of like the intro to "That's What Friends Are For?" to me? The tinkly music in the ice caves?

Argh.

Ugh, is there Times showing up for you? I must have made yet another CSS error. I swear, I'm working on that. Yup. All day, all night, down by the seashore, sifting CSS.
