A Commuter's Graph

ipodchart.png

Proof positive that our little corner of the world is about to collapse into a black hole of collective geekery.

Note: I included myself in the data even though I *technically* left my copy of Quicksilver at home. That shit is fucking heavy, yo.

Note redux: One dude reading the book was *actually almost finished* even though it just came out yesterday. He can share my Dork of the Day prize with this one girl in my class? Who is an up-talker? And makes everything sound like a question? And I totally hate her? I was, like? Going to push her down the stairs today? During a fire drill? But I didn't? Because I'm, like? A humanitarian? Or something?

I have neither Quicksilver nor iPod. So I'm not a geek, right?

Quicksilver isn't out here yet, but London is definitely on the brink of the iPod Event Horizon.

My new bf has an ipod - I only know one other person in Manchester who has one though. He's also a total bookworm, so I'll suggest Quicksilver so he can match your pretty little commuter graph!

I love your computer graph and I mean LOVE.

And I was actually taught to talk that way in an Individual Therapy class for my social work degree. It's called "plucking". Though with that you were suppose to do it to other people's sentences in order to get them to clarify things.

Yeah, it was annoying and pointless - just like my degree!

a cool graph and an im icon that makes you look like a dr zhivago yeti in no way exempts you from not posting for weeks on end.

Snap, snap!

I'd like an iPod but I know I'll just listen to the same ten albums over and over again.

Books? What are those?

Is your up-talker Canadian? They're very adept at making everything sound like a question.

I have a friend who's a litigator in Ontario. Always wondered how effective he was ... "Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, my client is innocent?"

I'm Canadian but I don't talk like that... I think it's more of a north american teen/young person kind of thing, non?
