In which last.fm blows my mind

I've been a member of last.fm/audioscrobbler for a little over a year, and have always found it fun to fiddle with (especially since it's actually fairly responsive since their last redesign/upgrade). But it never BLEW MY MIND until I tried the last.fm Player today.
Damon told me my icon had changed from grey (free) to blue (paying supporter) and I realized that a favor Matt did for me a few weeks ago must have finally kicked in. As a "blue" member, I guess I get some fancier Player settings and I must say the whole thing is kind of incredible.
It plays a great mix of songs I've listened to or liked over the last year of using the service, including songs that have long since disappeared onto archive CDRs or onto my iPod that's sitting in a different room.
How does it do it??? TEH INTERNETS ARE MAGIC I GUESS!!!11!!!!
Go download it!
Edited to add: Also, I like that it has a hot pink icon. It's totally giving Aqua the shocker.

Damn. And I'd just trained yahoo-music to recognise a Cher song at twenty paces.
Damn you! Damn you to hell!
