Ooh. Forgot this was coming. BTW just a minute and a half of Almodovar helped me figure out what I don't like about Glee--for all its melodrama, kitsch and color, the show lacks a warm, beating heart at its core. (Although I still think it's a terrific comedy and I will happily tune in every week and download every goddamn track they cover!)

This is way more interesting than I thought it would be. "[T]he story of ketchup is a story of globalization and centuries of economic domination by a world superpower. But the superpower isn't America, and the century isn't ours.
