Spoiled rotten
Tonight the deli on the corner sold me spoiled milk for the SECOND DAY IN A ROW.
I'm sure you're all jealous of my glamorous, jetset lifestyle. They wouldn't dare sell me spoiled milk if I were Princess Grace de Monaco and this was 1967.

Yingluck
Weekend: Thai food with Oon, who isn't really named Oon after all. She's named Yingluck! If my name was Yingluck, I don't think I'd need a nickname.
We went to see Bring It On! today. Eliza Dushku is god. Excuse me while I go show those Buffies who's boss.
The Daria movie just finished. Free cable = me, the MTV hound. I would mention something about Danny [fansite | official site] from the Real World here but it would result in me sleeping in the hall again.

Sleeping in the hall
So I was just showing Matthew this weblog; he told me I had to sleep in the hall for meowing at Ian Somerhalder. Oh well :(

Starry Sarah
Can I also just add that Starry Sarah rules my world.

Revolution
Dance Dance Revolution. Dance Dance Revolution. Dance Dance Revolution: the 3rd mix version is blowing my mind. I bought a Playstation just to play it... Haven't heard of it? Basically, you hook up a big floor pad with arrows on it. The game consists of "dances" where music plays and arrows flash on the screen. You step on the arrows when told. Before you know it, you're a Nice Dancer Who Had Breakfast or some other nonsensical ESL phrase. It rules. And the 3rd mix has the Theme From Flashdance on it! Nuff said.
Ian Somerhalder. Meow. Young Americans is absolutely godawful but wow is he pretty.
Matthew. We just got our own place in Jersey City, home of frontier people who can't afford Manhattan and don't like Brooklyn; we met our upstairs neighbors and one of them said "it's not Melrose, but it'll do." What can I say, we unwittingly landed in the gay ghetto! Rad.

I'm writing this title in 2002. I can't remember who Rich is.
Rich sucks. That's all I have to say about that.
In Joannou news, I activated the atomz.com search engine here today. It was a helluva lot easier than I thought it would be, and it blends right in with the site. Technological wonders will never cease. Next: I'm on the hunt for a good guestbook and a couple of counters for the various pages. Whee.
Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to pop downstairs for a cigarette.

Blogging.
Welcome to the new and improved Joannou de Luxe! I hope you like it.
The log is working perfectly now, with an archive and everything! The next thing I'm going to add is a search engine for the whole site, and a guestbook for at least the Stars webpage. And I have to find the pictures that explain just what the heck Joannou de Luxe means...
I'm really proud of my Mary Cherry pages... I think she's the funniest character on television. Congrats to Popular for winning the Teen Choice Award for Most Underrated Show; it really deserved it. I'm sorry the pages aren't complete but take a look at them for now (Ep.20 is up, 5, 8 and 9 are almost done)-- I'll get them done soon (ish). Well, as soon as I get a new VCR.
I'm most proud of the new Stars page, and I'm sorry it took so long to get it finished. They're a fantastic band and I'm proud to get to work with them. Once they're all back in town we'll take some new photos, and soon I'll post the finalized information for their upcoming album
Okay, that's it for now. I won't just be using this log for info on site updates, I'm planning on being chatty here, too. So do read it again. 09:28 PM | Comments (2)
