New thing. Such a new thing.

Redesign in progress. I figure if I force myself to post the index page, it will get my ass in gear to do the other necessary bits and bobs.

I promise, I'll be back soon with real posts and a complete design. Really!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have people to stalk.

Narrow escape

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. You see, I was caught counting cards on a riverboat casino and I had to flee some armed gunmen. I injured my arms while dangling from the paddle on the back of the boat, and I haven't been able to type.

Oh no, wait, that wasn't me. That was my friend Rebecca. Shit.

Me? I'm just lazy.

To keep you quiet, here's an mp3 of the new Saint Etienne single. It rules my summer.

Other good things forthcoming. I promise like a fortune cookie.

My bf...

...gave me a big hug the other day after reading on here that we didn't go to the blogmeet because of my "self-esteem" issues. Isn't he sweet?

He's been reading The Noonday Demon so perhaps he's getting things filtered weirdly, but I thought I should explain myself. I'm not worried or embarassed about meeting bloggers (hell, I've met loads of them, and I'll probably meet loads more at the Kiki & Herb show next week). I'm embarassed (everybody now!) about saying my domain name out loud. Because I still don't know how to say it.

And anyway I had more fun on Gay Pride weekend forcing my friends to watch Angel kill Jenny on the bf's gorgeous Buffy DVD set.

In unrelated news, I just read on What Do I Know that the Happy Mac has been replaced in Jaguar (the next version of OS X). And that now it looks like this. [Note: Image link updated since the mac.com site was shut down by The Man!]

Must. Upgrade. To. OS X. Immediately.

Oops. Uninteresting.

Hey! Look at that! 2 weeks went by.

I blame Pumpkin, which was such a huge time-suck that I really felt like I was in the theatre for an entire fortnight.

Other than that, all I really did was work on a redesign that I immediately hated and will never finish. It joins seven others in the Redesign folder on my desktop. Blech.

Oh, and I did a clean OS install on my PowerBook. And I skipped Choire's party because of said computer nonsense. Not because of any lingering self-esteem issues. Heavens no!

Who's coming with me to see Kiki & Herb next Friday?
