Green Acres
So I'm looking for a job with something slightly more than Utter Disinterest lately.
This is the kind of thing that's available where I live now:
Accommodations vary due to availability, but generally residents live in treehouses in the woods. If there are no treehouse vacancies, the Assistant Garden Manager will live in the barn or on a tent platform.
Sigh. Darling I love you, but give me Fifth Avenue, etc etc.

Uh oh, new demographic-o's!
Isn't it sad when an actress makes the leap from Playing One Of The Teenagers to Playing One Of The Parents?
I snickered when one of the gals from Grosse Pointe turned up on The OC to flirt with Peter Gallagher (way back in the heyday of Season One!), since it was always a running joke on that (unfortunately shortlived) show that the "high school students" were all played by actors pushing thirty.
But now *I* feel old, thanks to the latest casting spoilers for Veronica Mars. Another Buffy alum is joining the cast, playing Dick & Beaver's stepmom. Pics here, but don't click if you don't want to be spoiled.
At least now maybe I can convince a few more of my friends to watch VM. Sigh.
