"Recommend a good (now here's the kicker) men's fashion blog?" This thread is proof that there's a gaping hole in the blogosphere's fashion layer. I'd offer to fix it but I'm wearing a pair of dirty jeans and a plaid indieboy shirt that I bought in 1993.

The use of conditional borders between rows where values change was kind of a lifesaver for me last night. I love these basic tips that can seem so revolutionary. I heart Juice Analytics.

These look amazing en masse. (I judge books by their covers. Lately I've been having trouble finishing books. I wonder if the two things are related)

Peter Krause could totes play him in a Lifetime Original Biography-ish Movie. "He found the best organic chocolate in the world...but can he find love?" BTW David Lebovitz, get proper single-entry archives plskthx.

Whoever this artist is, he makes Jamie Madrox a bit too lanternjawhunktastic. But still, I love me some Multiple Man.

Or, er, Lerica. This reminds me of that Runcible primer from The Diamond Age...

Me + Ruth Reichl 4evah. But damn, WGBH, what's up with websites that are one giant jpeg? Get with the now, you look like DeBarge.

I think I del.icio.us'd this once before, but I hadn't actually watched the video. It's terrifying. And the soundtrack is, inexplicably, a spooky remixed Blossom Dearie song.

"Adults filled in the rest of the cast, but it was only when Ryan locked Marissa's gaze that the show sparked to life." Clearly, this writer was watching a different show than I was. He also calls Seth a "sidekick"...wtfmate?

Joss Whedon's favorite teevee characters. Strangely, I find this sort of fascinating. Because I am a nerd of the worst sort.

"O death, where is your impact? And what's with that question mark?" I hate Impact, too.

Gourmet=most ad-ridden magazine EVAR. My subscription literally drove me crazy tearing out business reply cards and ad supplements. The Philips-sponsored lit supplement was a glorious exception, and now there's a podcast that goes with it.

"Alison is freaking because the challenge ends at midnight, and her outfit isn't working out. Even her panic is beautiful, and soft-spoken and full of shimmering showers of color and light." Heh.

I used to live around the corner from this weird parking garage. Crazy story.

Ugly Betty will now be up against... The Office and My Name Is Earl? Why are networks so stupid and childish about endlessly competing over timeslots? WHY CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG? (I have too much free time today)

'As Chief Justice Judith Kaye dryly noted in her dissent, "There are enough marriage licenses to go around."'

"Maybe one of the justices can hold the shotgun while another officiates?" Dan's gloves are really off lately, huh?

Every time Steve Jobs doesn't mention massive Finder overhauls in a keynote about a new release of OS X, god kills a kitten. Color me peeved.

I can't tell you how happy it makes me that there are people in the world who write huge essays about things like this. Text selection bugs me EVERY DAY as I switch back and forth from Macs to PCs.

Note to self: when watching Small Space, Big Style, don't Google the names of any of the cute designers/pundits. SRSLY!

Yes, yes I do. I'm pretty damn cranky about this whole debacle. I was all ready to write about Shirley Henderson's amazing line reading of "meat curtains" in Tristram Shandy and NOW I CAN'T.

I got a full three minutes and four seconds of enjoyment out of this video. Also, it made me a little dehydrated.
