Pretty damn funny. The part about her gay four year old who still sucks his pacifier and did a runway walk for Tim Gunn made me die.

I feel sort of let down by the internet. How come we didn't know about (have pictures, measurements, background info of) this Kieran character already?

So, uh, the video has apparently been touched up a bit to make it look less cheap. The CGI guy missed Cheryl's tramp stamp, though.

Wow, iTunes 7 has *eighteen* different color gradients in its new UI. Argh, Apple, GET IT TOGETHER.

So food bloggers have been buzzing about Alinea's spot at the top of the heap. I want to know two things: what do the asterisks mean and why are there no damn links to the restaurants' web pages?

"The apple geniuses did not believe in my powerbook, but i did." Great paean to a departed laptop. I had the same one and I rode it into the ground, too.

"Dreadful" indeed! 1. Sarah is wearing Madge's purple leotard pants; are they Kabbalah related? 2. I like how they touch their butts every time they say "tutu" 3. Congrats on once again getting out of the studio without spending more than 11 quid!

I noticed the smugness & the slightly-dated premise, too, and I wonder if the writers will have the ear for comedy-comedy rather than drama-comedy. But my hopes are high and I'll def. keep watching; SARAH PAULSON RULES OK?

"Here is the video for Luke Haines' new, Richard X-produced single." Hmm, a bit static, isn't it? Not that one would generally use a word like "dynamic" when describing Haines. I'm on the fence on this one.

I somehow overlooked this review/analysis last year when Chemistry came out. Erm, OK.

NetNewsWire and deprecated Atom support
If, like me, you've been seeing endless annoying repeated posts from BlogSpot blogs in NetNewsWire, you should Get Info on the subscription and change the "atom.xml" piece to "rss.xml".
NNW stopped supporting Atom 0.3 a while ago but Blogger never updated their feeds to a newer standard. Maybe this means Atom's officially dead in the water, I dunno.
All I *do* know is that I'd like to cut back on the number of false "new" postings in my feed reader before I drown in text, and this is one way to help.

Now you can learn how to say it out loud! And also you can feel old when you think "Hmm, those boys say 'like' a lot, don't they?"

Decent replacement app icons! Re: iMovie: "The standard icon looks like a scene from a Depends commercial. Here is a picture of a former girlfriend trying on some lingerie in New York's Chelsea Hotel. The lobby smelled of urine. Blast you, Leonard Cohen."

Wow, on Tuesday we get big announcements from Apple AND a new Girls Aloud single premiere? What have I, what have I, what have I done to deserve this?

There is nothing about this Scopitone that isn't bizarre. Watch for the bit where Debbie's chaperone is an INCH from falling off the platform but somehow maintains his composure.

If Joss Whedon takes over Runaways after BKV leaves, I may just explode right here in my chair. It's cobblering time! Of course, the cobblering will only occur once every six months instead of twelve times a year, but whatevs.

This sucks. I hope they the "high note" of issue #24 at least involves Karolina getting a proper girlfriend instead of a tranny Skrull.

I should have applied for the web job that was available at Cook's Illustrated two years ago. They just redesigned again and the site is STILL INCREDIBLY UGLY.

I, too, hate wicker. But there is nothing better on god's green earth than Lauren Graham and Kristen Bell having drinks on a lanai. Nothing, I tell you!
