This bothered me, too. But I'm trying to be less of an asshole about stuff like this and pay more attention to, like, the wallpaper.

Leighton Meester as Eliza Doolittle with a Blackberry and flip flops. Seriously, I am dying here. Every time I'm away from mass media for more than a day everything just goes fucking crazy. See also: Rachel McAdams & Ryan Gosling getting back together (which, awesome, btw).

What made me think of Metropolitan. It's interesting that his cinematographer also shot the Sex and the City film, which makes a huge amount of sense, really. Also: "Whit: Yes. Last Days of Disco - there should be a Criterion edition. But, that contract has not been - I think Criterion is negotiating with one of the studios to bring it out. But, those negotiations are taking a very long time." Get a move on!

You could do worse than spend an hour and a half watching this on Hulu.

Wait, seriously, Frankie and Rochelle S Club 8 are in the Saturdays?? Clearly I haven't been paying close enough attention to Popjustice. I am having loads of hilarious "inappropriately-fanciable Calvin" flashbacks. Too bad they'll be dropped shortly--in at #8 indeed. Also I loved that piece in the Daily Mail about the girl out of Boom! who is Kylie's behind-double, but I've already closed the tab so you'll have to Google it.

Hey, something to not look forward to.
