Fan-made Dr. Horrible prequel. Erm, the production values look good?

I give Kelly Ripa kudos on her Taylor. I don't think Regis went into this skit well-informed, though.

I don't know anything at all about this screenplay, but that's some nice casting work right there: "Carey Mulligan, Joanna Lumley, Mackenzie Crook & Christopher Eccleston have been cast in Simon Aboud's This Beautiful Fantastic." I'll rent it. Two years from now.

Hey look, it's Matthew Bomer making out with a dude. And lo, my sick day is improved.

"We also had to cut a shirtless Topher bit from the end montage. DVD extras perhaps?" Oh Maurissa, you tease.

I heart VirtualBox; it's a real open source gem. Anil explains how to integrate it with a BootCamp partition, which I didn't know was possible. Maybe I'll set it up that way next time I do a big cleanup and reinstall...VirtualBox doesn't play games too well (or at least I can't figure that out) so a dual boot situation might be the solution!

Ooh. Forgot this was coming. BTW just a minute and a half of Almodovar helped me figure out what I don't like about Glee--for all its melodrama, kitsch and color, the show lacks a warm, beating heart at its core. (Although I still think it's a terrific comedy and I will happily tune in every week and download every goddamn track they cover!)

This is way more interesting than I thought it would be. "[T]he story of ketchup is a story of globalization and centuries of economic domination by a world superpower. But the superpower isn't America, and the century isn't ours. Ketchup's origins in the fermented sauces of China and Southeast Asia mean that those little plastic packets under the seat of your car are a direct result of Chinese and Asian domination of a single global world economy for most of the last millenium [sic]."

If he were do it over again today, would he do anything differently? Any regrets? Mr. Berners-Lee smiled and admitted he might make one change — a small one. He would get rid of the double slash “//” after the “http:” in Web addresses.

It's not often you see "font-related" lawsuits in the news so I'm particularly excited about this.

I still think "Miss You Bow Wow" was written by a robot. Or, possibly, multiple robots, while fighting. Brilliantly.
