I did not get pot roast at the rummage sale today but instead spent my money on renting All That Jazz YES!!!!!! I was very excited to see it at the video store (not so excited to see the 50 cent price increase) I also bought a paperback of "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" with lots of photos in the hopes of selling it online somewhere for a profit.
I also got too excited for my own good to see a new Barry Maitland mystery. This year I have been finding new new mystery/crime authors and going through their entire series, or at least all the books that my library has. I have a little notebook of "Books Read" that I started a few years ago, but I always keep misplacing/forgetting it. Lately it has became the repository for which books by which mystery writers I have read.
I also took gay book: I will miss all those weird gay ghetto novels populating the shelves of the JC library. (I will also miss all the new knitting books they get, too, but for different reasons as I actually read those. My new library has ana abundance of quilting and Beatles books ARGGHHH. Well, maybe they have knitting, too.)

I also went to a silent auction benefiting a preschool co-op today, but I have $20 to last until Tuesday and that has to pay for another skein of Brown Sheep Bulky, another outing to Cause Celeb (and I did not mention that last week's show had an actor who I swear on a hundred bibles went to college with me, but I was too shy to accost him after the show to ask if he did, and too shy to ask any of the people at my table to ask him, maybe he will return next week!! And I will have imbibed enough booze to ask! And then I can be horrified about how downhill my life has been since college AND LOOK WHAT CAME IN THE MAIL the first reminder of this summer's college reunion, if school calls for money this year, I think I will laugh and cry and tell them I haven't had a job that has paid more than $7 an hour since leaving school, could they lend ME some money instead???) a trip to the church book sale, and some refreshment at KnitNY (because I have to show off my nearly completed Skully Sweater!!! And I haven't been to Stitch n' Bitch in a month.) so I didn't bid on anything. I did get some nice food treats at the auction though, so hey free lunch! It wasn't much, but after the recent donut binge, I think I should watch it. I did get slice of roast beef MMMMMMMMMMM PROTEIN.
