Ahhhhh I totally forgot I broke a tenner at Shop-Rite yesterday and had less cash than I thought. I discovered that E23rd St has lotsa thrifts. City Opera has 30% off pianos!!! They had some cute books, but not $8 (well, $5.60) cute. They had two volumes of "Highlights of Jewish History", but I only got one. It's a school book!!! With exercises!"Answer in a complete sentence: Why did Mendelssohn complain about conditions in Prussia?" "Moses Montefiore or Lionel de Rothschild?"
This was worth the $2 I spent on "Ground Zero" : "I had no choice but to be promiscuous - no one ever wanted to see me a second time" SIIIIIGGGGGHHHH.
Also: why can I not find Brown Sheep Bulky in Clematis???? NOOOOOOOO!!!!! I am so fucked!!!! (It's not like I can't order it from a catalog, but arghhh)
The knitted part of my cartoon bunny backpack is nearly finished. Now I'll have to SEW and get a zipper YIKES!
okay, llew quoted your quote "I had no choice but to be promiscuous - no one ever wanted to see me a second time" and I must know where it's from!
