Oh god, I went ahead and bought the Spanish production of Evita on vinyl this weekend. I also looked at the Olympic soundtracks. Scary roads for rosemary. Great God Demento, what are you doing to me???
It sounds like Eurovision meets Andrew Lloyd Webber. Starring Baccara! As Evita! "Yes Sir I Want to Be Rainbow High". All that college French has messed up my Spanish grammar. I want all the de amor to be d'amor. Some of the arrangements, I am not sure of yet. I want to find as my foreign language productions as possible.
Related to all things showtunes, via some googlestalking of a recent infatuation I discoverd that there were auditions for "Company" in Hoboken last year, and it was performed in the spring. I am so bummed to have missed it! Someone asked me what my favorite show was, and I sort of blanked, but I did say Company in the end. Oh , Fiddler, I am so sorry I forgot you.
