I read the new Vanity Fair on Thursday. The Jackie article was okay, I guess. Was the Jackie chain-smoked revelation supposed to be shocking? It's not like it was a state secret. (Which reminds me of that The Kenendy Curse book, where it listed various Kennedy deaths as as example of these horrible things. Well dying from cancer tends to happen if you've been chainsmoker [rather than, say a gypsy curse]) Also, check out that Shriver family portrait (with just one of their children, Maria.) Ai-yi-yi! Eunice Shriver looks like what Dorian Greys portrait in the attic must have looked like. And Maria still calls Sargent "Daddy"? Eek.
And celebrity trial groupie Dominic Dunne (it was more fun when John Waters was the one attended all the high profile trials!) writes about Martha.
