Is there some sort of Korean on Chinese racism I am unware of? This is not the first time I have come across customers seems to prefer the "Made in Indonesia" china to the "Made in China" china. (note: there ain't much left made in England, whoops, sorry) By some weird quirk a first quality tchotchke (and in a pretty box to boot!) is cheaper then the second quality one, and yet I had a lady insist on taken the $15 dollar heart box instead of better quality $12 one. I am clueless when it comes to matters of intra-Asian hierarchies. Does the Ego trip Big Book of Racism go into this? I forget!
Also, I got a whopping 18 cent raise, which makes a total of 68 cents in the past year, which is I guess ok since no one at the company has gotten a raise in two years. Because of this, we had yearly reviews! I am slightly annoyed that my mark was S when the comments seemed a bit higher than S level. But what ever. Ha, and my boss said "I know that sometimes working with all women can be difficult" but frankly it's the least creepy working environment I've had.
Also, haha, my boss commented about my response to any request being "okay!" (changing schedules and covering for people or taking home her spring cleaning cast offs). It really is my repsonse to A LOT of things, and I am not entirely sure how I avoided sleeping with 100 men or lose massive amount of brain synapses to drugz with such a tendancy towards ameniability.* It does explain how I get fat all the time though ("Want to go to Edward's at 2 in the morning? And then eat a platter of mozzarella?""Um, ok!")
Also, the sub UPS guy is teh hawt, especially with the first sign of springdom THE BROWN SHORTS!
