ok, what is with that NYT book review of the Washingtonienne book? women are described as 'brunet' and 'blond'? ACK NO!!!

Other pedantism: apparently Simon Reynolds has name dyslexia, as he can't tell the difference between names that end in "yn" and "ine". The new book has "Caroline Jones" starring in the Adams Family, while in "The Sex Revolts" he or Joy Press don't know how to spell Katherine Harrison's name UGH.

Oh these things make me so so cranky.
