Other pedantism: apparently Simon Reynolds has name dyslexia, as he can't tell the difference between names that end in "yn" and "ine". The new book has "Caroline Jones" starring in the Adams Family, while in "The Sex Revolts" he or Joy Press don't know how to spell Katherine Harrison's name UGH.

I bought that new Berkely Crime knitting mystery paperback. Alas, it only took an hour and weekend train travel takes an hour and a half. Also, some of the twists were sort of easy to predict.

And then I couldn't figure out how to get to the PATH train what with parades on 5th ave AND 8th st.

I finally got my stupid 25 pound magent, oh, those last five pounds!! Donuts and booze bring me down every time. I guess I will stay off drinking until I am finished (i.e I have lost more weight int he past two month of not drinking than I have in the first four months of the year)

And I am getting lunch from my boss tomorrow! Because I got a 100% on my secret shopper report (so, like eat poo, R3ddy family!). Added bonus was I mentioned the upcoming event to the mystery shopper, which makes me look extra good. Maybe the powers that be will be off my case for a while. then again, I dunno, somehow I have managed to avoid some of the brunt, i.e. in the divisions of people at work, I get along ok with everyone.

I checked out Dogville and Capturing the Friedmans from the library today. I still have Funny Girl to watch, too. I think, next week, I will rent a complete TV Season DVD set, to watch whilst dog sitting. It'll be like laundrying/ using the AC when the landlords were away! (But with better snacks.But I'm not supposed to be snacking these days, as I am trying to be HARDCORE about these things lately)But then I forgot how to use their AC so anyways.

I also had an idea for my chicklit novel. I was the composing the sex scene with the requisite Mr. Wrong in my head. Maybe I should take notes and do this come November, who knows! I was thinking of doing some shout outs to Law and Order in it, too (heroine is a Hudson U grad, make references to the fake celebrity cases, etc) We'll see.

I bought Annie on DVD, I don't know why. Ha,Wayne Cilento is in this? Fantastic! I bought the novelisation used last month. They had so so many novelisations at the used bookstore, it was so tempting!

Instead I spent $2 on SVHs this weekend inclding SUPER SAGAS and ELizabeth's secret diary. Alas, not Jessica's which has the I think it would be neat to try drugs OH NO REGINA DIED I WILL NEVER EVER DO THEM I SWEAR.

I am reading the entire Kinsey Millhone series this summer (well as if that will take me tthat long! try 2-3 weeks TOPS) . All purpose black dress = matching lavalieres and I cut my hair with nail scissors (and frankly, wtf???) = perfect size 6 figure.
