Will the bring up KJ? Or Stewart's?

Harriman State Park on CI = shout out TO ME. Someone on the writing staff has to live in this county, as there have been too many references to it.

And it's based on an event I totally called as being turned into a Law and Order episode

naomi wolf watch

What's wrong here?

"I've been reading a lot [of] the Jesus seminar critics. They're th epeople who vote on what Jesus actually said in the Old Testament"

I am not sure if the big dummy is NW or her interviewer or the editor.

what, no fuhmali?

Guess who makes a cameo appearance in Freakonomics? Oh yes, our favorite twins Lemonjello and Orangejello!! And Shithead, pronounced "shuh-TEED". Um, no, you ass-wee-pays, it's pronounced sh'theed.

The heck with this legalized abortion contributing to the drop crime controversy, the real outrage is acting like these twins exist.

Can I please meet them? I don't want paperwork I WANT THE REAL THING.

why did i eat the ice cream though?

I ate cilantro without throwing up. What's wrong with me?

The lady who made my burrito sort of looked at me funny when I said no to cheese, salsa, or guacamole. Or maybe it was my constant "What? What?" My earache problems + genetics + tendency to fall asleep with the discman on = I am so deaf! And here's the best part, I am not sure I care that much.

In other news, my new stylus is here! Hooray!

Why do I keep watching Crossing Jordan? I can predict them by the first commercial break!

And Gina from Sesame Street was on Law and Order AGAIN.

And I am getting a cold again.

yarn update

The Union Square Knit Out was .... ok. Maybe I should have signed up for the learn to crochet lessons. Instead I left after 30 or 45 minutes and walked around to all the knitting shops. Hey I got 10,000 steps in.

Who knew middle aged ladies were VICIOUS for free shit. The free knitting needle booth UGH UGH. (Size 15 bamboos = good for staking vampires?) I got some nice free magazines, as well as some with, er, scary patterns. I saw an ad for a rip off Strawberry Shortcake doll with a red hat lady outfit. WRONG WRONG WRONG.

The Suss store is ok. Own line yarns are probably competively priced against other luxury yarns, but you can get Brown Sheep cheaper elsewhere!

The knitting cafes were both on the hectic side, but that's ok.

I'm still looking for more colors in Lorna's Laces that I want. But no one has them! Or they only have ONE SKEIN.

Also, this month's MC bill had over $300 spent on crafts, so it's yarn moratorium time again. Or yarn diet, or whatever. I am making the skinned muppetfun fur jacket, so that will get rid of some yarn. And yet, I really want size 5 16" Inox needle EVEN THOUGH I have the Denise set which means I cna have circulars in ANY SIZE. Stop me plz.

I have to find some sort of charity knits to knit for. Preemie hats? Animal blankets? Soldiers abroad? I gave some squares for the Point's project, but it wasn't a lot.
